Stunning scenery, challenging incline, would highly recommend
Chris Ince
Great route, clearly marked and really well organised
Would definitely recommend and, as they warn you, save a little bit in your legs for the last couple of miles back!
Thomas Meyer
Mud fest fun
Well organised, friendly and supportive marshals.

Very good organisation, great course and perfect finish with the breakfast
A bit a of a challenge as first half is uphill, but worth it as a run due to being 99% on trails and in nice surroundings (even better when the sun is out). Plus once you reach the top is an easy half back.

Had an absolute blast!
Second time running this fab race. Amazing event! Can’t wait for next year’s
Donovan Duffy
One of the best events on the entire race calendar
Superbly organised trail half with a local feel and excellent served breakfast at end to top it off
James Glasspool
Great race, well organised and friendly but tough run
Great race to do, with the wife carrying race to watch before taking on the half marathon. Hard course as ever, extremely well organised and fun to do with a cooked breakfast to look forward to afterwards. Plenty of snacks at the end of the race and a medal (wooden) as well as an optional t-shirt for purchase. Wasn't a fan of wooden medals but now I've realised that once you cut the ribbon off you're left with a decent coaster I'm more of a fan!

Great vibe, it is what racing should be
Benjamin Morrell
A wonderful event. Very well organised but it felt so approachable. Amazing camaraderie amongst the runners. Beautiful scenery.
MATTHEW SEARS
Uphill all the way out. Not downhill all the way back!
Another edition of this really great race. Challenging conditions underfoot, as always, but good support all the way to the highest point in Surrey, and back. Come for the punishing trail half, stay for the cooked breakfast afterwards! One of my favourite races!

Tough as old boots
Toughest half in the calendar but now feel like I could face any challenge
Brilliant event
Simon Hemsley

Lovely & friendly, thank you to all of the marshals and volunteers
Stephanie Bennett
Amazing experience, hard work and totally worth it!
An incredible selection of recovery treats for afterwards on top of the cooked breakfast. Everyone was super friendly. Huge thank you to the organising team!
Tom Clary
Steady hill challenge
Arran Selhi
Small and perfectly formed!
Slick, welcoming and well worth the entry fee, many races could learn from this one. So organised, great signage at both race HQ and on the course and you get fed afterwards! Whether you do it with a mate, as a training run or go hard for a PB, this is a race you need to do at least once.
